The Farmer’s Cooperative Company was formed in 1920 in Afton, Iowa. Over the years nine locations were added, being Arispe, Creston, Macksburg, Mt. Ayr, Diagonal, Osceola, Indianola, Shenandoah, and Elwood, KS. The Coop employs 140 people and offers a full line of feed products, fertilizer, chemicals, custom application, seed and grain storage. The Farmers Coop has approximately 1,500 member/owners and continues to grow and serve its members.
