hen it comes to finding a place to eat, checking out great entertainment, and making plans for a last-minute date night, there’s one simple idea, Choose Bolingbrook.

It’s more than a message; it’s the name of a new website created through a collaboration of the Bolingbrook Chamber of Commerce’s Hospitality Alliance. The website is designed as a collection of information on dining options, entertainment, and lodging, as well as providing a calendar of events taking place in and around Bolingbrook. “One of the motivations was how can we get the word out about what we have to offer,” explained Dennis Igoe, a member of the Bolingbrook Chamber of Commerce’s Hospitality Alliance and the General Manager of the Holiday Inn & Suites Bolingbrook.

Igoe sees visitors daily looking for more information about the community, whether they’re in town to visit family, attend an event or play as part of the growing sports tourism industry. “We host soccer, baseball, hockey and volleyball teams and I have seen a lobby full of kids and parents wondering what to do,” Igoe said. In today’s digital age, creating a website provides information people can easily access on their phones, whether they are sitting at the game or making advance plans from home. Local businesses will have a QR code on display that people can use to reach the Choose Bolingbrook website.
