Taylor County Fair Beef show results At the 2016 Taylor County Fair Beef Show, Kyla Swartz took honors for the supreme champion market beef animal while Jordan England took reserve supreme champion market beef animal. Abi Bennett took honors for grand champion yearling heifer and Caden David received reserve grand champion yearling heifer. Champion commercial heifer went to Brooklyn Rowan and champion Angus heifer went to Abi Bennett. Grand champion market steer was exhibited by Jordan England with reserve grand champion market steer honors going to Dalton Poston.
Grand champion market heifer was exhibited by Kyla Swartz with reserve grand champion market heifer honors going to Clell Beason. Trey Hill won Champion bucket bottle calf honors. Champion cow/calf pair went to Abie Bennett, with Katelyn Belding taking reserve. Market steer class champions included Zach Marxen, Jordan England and Kyle Rowan. In the pen-of-three competition, champion went to the Ross Wranglers comprised of Kyla Swartz, Kyle Rowan, and Dalton Poston. In the beef handling division for the juniors, Tate Rowan took Champion and Carter DeMott received
reserve champion. In the beef handling division for the intermediates, Emilee Bennett took Champion and Austen David received reserve champion. In the beef handling division for the seniors, Colton Hogan took champion honors with reserve champion honors going to Abi Bennett. Judging the beef show was Randy Golightly. Superintendents for the beef department are Ryan Wilson, Darian David, Rick Cabbage and Todd Stoaks. Junior Superintendents are Abi Bennett, Kyla Swartz and Dalton Poston. Trophies and plaques were sponsored by the Taylor County Cattlemen.

Exhibiting the grand champion breeding gilt was Colby Lange. Katelyn Belding showed the reserve grand champion breeding gilt. Breeding gilt class champions went to Tyra Stoaks, Jacy Stoaks, Katelyn Belding and Colby Lange. Class Reserve Champions in the Breeding Gilt division were awarded to Mckayla McMann, Cody McMann, Katelyn Belding and Kaleb David. In the swine handling competition, Kaleb David was named senior champion handler and Dalton Poston received senior reserve champion handler. Devon England was awarded the intermediate champion handler, and Tyra Stoaks received the intermediate reserve champion handler. Colby Nelson was named junior champion handler and Cael England received junior reserve champion handler. The judge for the 2014 4-H Swine Show was Jim Amdor.
