Advance nationwide alignment and implementation of the SHAPE America National Physical Education Standards and National Health Education Standards, ensuring all learners have access to effective instruction. Provide high-quality, standards-based resources and professional development opportunities that empower and equip teachers to provide accessible health and physical education that reaches and engages every learner. Engage the health and physical education higher education community to promote research that connects with policy and advances practice for the sake of every learner.
Grow SHAPE America’s reach and membership to ensure more health and physical education professionals are connected to the association’s programs and resources. Expand and diversify revenue streams to safeguard financial stability and underscore SHAPE America’s role as the leading voice on health and physical education. Engage in best practices in data collection and management to ensure organizational data-informed decision-making.
