Bembridge Little Theatre Club are back with their stage adaptation of The Vicar of Dibley, based on the original T V series by Tina Sitko. Written by Richard Cur tis and Paul Mayhew-Archer. When the elderly Vicar in a sleepy village dies, the residents are horrified to discover that his replacement is a woman! Geraldine Granger has been sent from the Head Church, and is determined to win over the oddball inhabitants while staying true to herself. With the suppor t of pea-brained verger Alice, she soon charms the sceptical congregation.
Based on the popular BBC T V sitcom, this play takes elements of the first 10 episodes and features all the familiar characters that have made it one of the best-loved comedies of all time.
