Nowadays, people's protection of historical sites is mostly concentrated in reconstruction, regenerate and preserve. However, with the development of society, people's aesthetic needs are also changing, and the current means are gradually unable to meet people's needs.
I aim to find a dynamic form of historical architecture. I hope that historical buildings can grow and have periodicity. It is able to change with people's needs and play a role in transmitting history and culture at the same time.
The number of geological layers will gradually increase with the passage of time. When we study it, we will be surprised at the thickness of time contained in it, and indulge in the stories contained in it. Instead of trying to restore the image of a historical moment, my building could dynamically record the past, present and future. It changes with time and people's needs, and has the attributes of renewability, sustainability, expression of history and inheritance of culture.
Clausius proposed the law of entropy increase, and Clausius introduced the concept of entropy. Clausiusti believes that everything in the natural state has been in the process of entropy increase, that is, tends to chaos.
The unchanging buildings gradually become chaotic with the passage of time.
The process of ancient buildings turning into ruins is entropy increasing, and the unchanging ancient buildings can not meet the needs of people, so the sustainable renewal of buildings is a reasonable way to maintain order.
History is not a point in time, but a period of time. Nowadays, the general treatment of historical sites in society is to try to fix historical sites at a certain time in the past or now for people to visit. However, if we interpret historical sites from the perspective of sedimentology, we will find that the protection of history is a dynamic record process rather than a static maintenance. Historical buildings may belong to a "growing" state, recording the past, present and future, It will also develop and change with the times.
Keep history statically
Methods:
Cases:
Preserve Reconstruct Regenerate Material
Record history dynamically
Keep the existing relics as far as possible, and repair and maintain them regularly.
Try to restore the relics to their original state and maintain them regularly.
Renovate the relics and endow them with new functions and forms for use.
Dynamize Narrative Fabrication
Aspects: Cases:
Materials have unique service life and characteristics, representing different meanings.
Narrative space makes relics more vivid and ideas easier to convey.
Different fabrication provide different spatial attributes and increase the diversity of sites.
Different materials have different life cycles, different space feelings, can carry different functions and use scenarios, and also record the history of different periods.
Wei Xian Zhai Qing Ke Xuan
Wei Xian Zhai is a four storey, single family, axisymmetric building, which mainly provides recreational and educational functions.
Qing Ke Xuan is composed of two buildings connected by stairs, mainly for recreation and exhibition.
Yun Zheng Shang Qian
Yun Zheng Shang Qian is composed of three subjects with different functions, providing different vision and sensory experience.
Zhong Ting
Zhong Ting is is an independent completely symmetrical building, with its traffic and ornamental functions.
Liu Yun Ge Zhu Yun
Zhu Yun is composed of a long building and a shorter one. The former provides a long and narrow exhibition space, while the latter provides a beautiful resting space.
Liu Yun Ge is composed of a tall building and a small strip one. The former provides complex functions, while the latter functions as temporary exhibition area and transportation.
Building Section
The ground floor is the historical relics reserve and activity platform, providing people with garden as roaming space and historical experience space. The second floor is mainly a wooden platform and corridor, the third floor is a wooden leisure and exhibition space, and the top floor is mainly a viewing and temporary exhibition area.
The tea room is located on the fourth floor in a beautiful environment, surrounded by hollow wooden windows, through which you can just see the crowns of most trees.
The landscape corridor is in the form of an open frame, surrounded by trees, and many branches are within reach and the environment interacts well with the corridor.
The wall made of steel wire cages contains historical relics, fragments and construction waste left over from past updates. People walk through the wall recording the history while wandering to admire the history.
We can see buildings and vegetation interweave and interact on the hillside. The building is integrated with the environment. Like the surrounding vegetation, the buildings seem to grow from the ruins.
Buildings surround vegetation, and vegetation also surrounds buildings. People shuttle through the buildings, vegetation and relics to experience the pleasure of wandering garden and the influence of history.

By approaching architecture as malleable receptacle of everyday life, this project is conceived of as a vital community intervention that celebrate the daily community life. The architectural strategy of developing flexible public space with the notion of "weaving" indicates its potential to be applied to different scales. Therefore, the architecture is expanding to its surrounding, injecting vitality to the districts.
As both daily necessity and cultural heritage, textiles with the origin from Africa is common to see in African Americans. The weaving patterns of the textile featuring "off-beat" implies dynamic layout that can be translated to architecural plans.
Make Residence Alive

Individual work
Date: Sept.2021
In modern Chinese society, a large number of commercial houses have sprung up like mushrooms after a rain. They are identical and restrict our life and thinking. We live in the landscape society described by Guillerbo, and as the weak party, we are alienated by capital. We lack communication with the word and even ourselves, so do our residences.
I aim to find a new form of housing, whose functions and house types are highly related to the owner rather than the same, which can meet the physical and psychological needs of young people to a large extent, with temperature and personality.I try to use Mead's theory to re-interpret human and residence, and put forward the hypothesis of "I space" and "Me space", hoping to design living space with vitality and characters.
Chengdu is an inclusive and diverse city. The new generation of young people growing up here have their own ideas and expectations for life and work. However, the apartments they have lived in for the longest time are the same. The house type of homogenization in frame words restricts them to share with the world. I try to interpret the apartments from a new perspective and create a space that belongs to them.
George Herbert Mead
1863.02.27~1931.04.26
As the "self" different from the "body", Mead believed that the "self" could be decomposed into two interrelated and interacting aspects, namely "I" and "Me".
HUMAN
Also known as the "subjective self", it is the active response of the organism to the attitude of others.
RELATIONSHIP
It is the embodiment of social relationship of self-consciousness. It is the impression and evaluation of oneself and others.
I try to divide the living space into "I space" and "me space", and interpret housing from a new perspective to meet the requirements of the new generation of young people for "home".
RESIDENCE
"Uncertain fuzzy space" designed to meet the subjective needs of the owner.
RELATIONSHIP
Space meeting the basic functional requirements of daily life (bathroom, kitchen, storage room, etc.).
FEATURES:
1. From inner will
2.Difficult to speculate, full of unknow
3.Large differences among individuals, weak regularity
1. "Me" has constraints on "I"
2."I" has a direct impact on "Me"
3.There is "communication" between the two“
FEATURES:
1. Based on general social cognition
2.Relatively stable and easy to judge
3. Maintain the necessary image of social life
FEATURES:
1. It is arranged according to the owner's wishes, and the space boundary is vague
2.Full of possibilities and uncertainties, with relatively complete and open space
3.It varies from person to person
1. The "Me space" has constraints on the "I space"
2.There is a reaction between the "I space" and the "Me space"
3.There is possibility of spatial interaction between the two
FEATURES:
1. It is arranged according to the traditional functional requirements, and the space boundary is obvious
2.The functional form is clear and single, and the space is relatively constrained
3. Necessary space for maintaining basic living needs

The urban design scheme is located in Tripoli, Lebanon, a city with a long history but plagued by religious conflicts, refugee problems and the gap between rich and poor. The site has been abandoned as an island of history due to previous civil war, politics and other reasons.
I hope to reactivate the site, explore a urban model of inspirations, games and serendipities, to solve the complex conflicts around and the existing problems in the city,.
By studying Steffen P. Walz's game theory, I divided people's game behaviors in cities into six types and designed special space forms for them. I also research the daily life of the surrounding people to plan the most suitable road network and functional zoning, and finally reassemble the original broken urban space and re-establish the connection between people.
Lebanon, a country with a long history, was colonized by many powerful countries in history, so different religious cultures were introduced into Lebanon. Since entering the modern society, with its geographical advantages, port resources and beautiful natural environment, the transportation industry, finance and tourism have developed rapidly. The good times are not long. In recent years, the country has been troubled by civil war, economic crisis, foreign forces and refugee flows. The contradiction between rich and poor, religious hostility, refugee problem have become important factors restricting national development.
Rich and poor distribution

The Phoenicians founded Tripoli. It originally comprised three neighbourhoods situated in the current location of Al Mina. It was the centre of a Phoenician confederation with Sidon and Tyre and Arados Island. Christianity prevailed due to the Roman Empire.
The Fatimid Caliph Al-Muiz conquered the city. It became an independent province encompassing Lattakia (Syria), experiencing a commercial and cultural boom that rendered it a significant centre of Shiia. Islam was popular in Tripoli.
Tripoli was successively occupied by Franks, Mameluks and Ottomans. As a result, religious culture and architectural style become complex and diversifieFarming culture also made different groups form in the city.
On November 22, 1943, Lebanon formally declared its independence from the French mandate and established the Lebanese Republic. In December 1946, all British and French troops withdrew from Lebanon.
Because of the contradiction between religious forces and the inducement of external forces, a comprehensive civil war broke out in Lebanon, which lasted for more than ten years, causing more than 100,000 deaths and hundreds of thousands of injuries.
Since the outbreak of the Syrian crisis in 2011, a large number of Syrian refugees have poured into Lebanon, most of whom live in refugee camps. At present, about 150 refugees are stranded in Lebanon. Refugees vie with citizens for jobs.
Attract
Many large cities in Lebanon held demonstrations, accusing the privatization of public space and calling for the return of urban space that should belong to citizens not just for the rich.

Project intends to create a urban labyrinth to integrate the seperated urban spaces. Meanwhile, it provides the largest public activity area in Tripoli and connects the lives of different people.

Project tries to guide convenient circulations to facilitate the life of the surrounding people, and create a scene of gathering and encoutering. In addition, the programs shall be supplemented according to the surrounding infrastructure.
The site has been abandoned since the civil war, just like a scar in the city. projetc aims to put interlaced green space and activity space in the site, bridgeing people's everyday life, breaking the urban structure blocked by layers, and reconnecting the surrounding programs, different groups and the whole city.
Rashid Karami Fairground was built in 1963, and was abandoned in 1975 due to civil war
Define Heritage Buildings.
Define 7 programatic zones.
Autocratic governance, different communities, diverse social and urban environment let the site seperate the city
Connect inland and coastal , everyday and leisure , city and nature through green axis
Design the primary road network according to the needs of the groups and urban transportation.
Naturalize the road network to create more natural playful experience in the monotonous city.
Generate building forms in relation to programs and public space.
Diversify natural landscape on the two main axes to create oasis.
Define distribution of different groups with their needs.
Create connections between communities through activity axes.
Design the secondary road network according to enhancing the accessibility.
Create diverse and pedestrian-friendly paths
Insert infrastructure such as hospitals and schools according to the service radius.
Insert diverse space for sport and sharing on two main axes.
Refine the program zoning, mix different clusters and public spaces to increase the possibility of interaction and playfulness.
Special buildings are placed at key junctions to meet the needs of the groups.
Add roofscape to maximize green and sharing space.
Green space, activity sites, game scenes and functional buildings are staggered in the site, forming a special urban maze, and connecting the surrounding areas into a whole.
The multi-level and diversified greening provides people with more opportunities to get close to nature. Urban farms and urban gardens provide opportunities for people to plant by hand, and enhance people's sense of participation and interaction.
The numerous activity venues and game scenes distributed in the area greatly enrich people's daily life, and also provide more opportunities for people to meet and communicate.
The diversified and multi-level urban space fully meets the physical and spiritual needs of the surrounding groups. The labyrinthine urban layout greatly improves the interest of urban space, increases the chance of "encounter", and breaks the shackles of everyday life. Scattered game scenes, numerous activity places and green spaces enrich people's spare time life. Life, work, leisure, different people meet here. Game, communication, encounter, and different stories happen here.

The narrative project was inspired by El Salvador's announcement that Bitcoin would be used for cryptocurrency as a legal coin, including a plan to build a "Bitcoin City" at the Conchagua Volcano. In order to achieve the goal, the President Nayib Bukele even ordered the military to break into the parliament. The gamble, however, has become crumbling because of the recent collapse of bitcoin.
In this design, "tube" is the core concept and form element.
On the one hand, it is used as a dromological media cybernetics for financial control; on the other hand, tube is a financially hacked "tripartite" political system metaphor as a whole. What's more, news are transfered to spaces, which illustrate the relationship between cryptocurrency, power, architecture and citizens' living condition.
El Salvador: A Magical Empire
El Salvador, known as the murder capital, has the highest murder rate in the world, with 105.2 murders per 100,000 people in 2015. El Salvador has a population of more than 6 million, of which more than 1 million are gang members, and the number of troops is only 40,000. It is one of the "low- and middle-income countries" in the world, with a total GDP of less than 70 billion US dollars.
El Salvador's domestic terrain is dominated by mountains and plateaus, with many volcanoes. It is known as the "country of volcanoes". The active volcano of Santa Ana in the territory is 2385 meters above sea level, which is the highest peak in the country. The El Salvador region was originally inhabited by the Mayan Indians.Legend has it that the Mayans began to build religious buildings in 1000 BC.It had became a Spanish colony in 1524, and the building has the characteristics of Spanish architecture. Now this country implements a representative democratic republic with the separation of powers.

The cultural center is located in Chengde City, surrounded by mountains and waters, with superior natural conditions. Chengde Summer Resort is particularly famous in the city. The art of landscape combination has become a topic discussed by many ancient garden designers. As the cultural symbol of Chengde City, the architecture extracts the elements of landscape and conforms to the context.
