San Francisco Bay Times

The San Francisco Bay Times is the largest and oldest LGBT newspaper in San Francisco that is now and always has been fully funded and owned by LGBT individuals. In 1978 the Bay Times became the first LGBT newspaper in Northern California and possibly the world to be jointly and equally produced by gay men and lesbians working together. We are the only LGBT publication actually located in the Castro and the only one proud to be recognized by the City of San Francisco as a Legacy Business.  Most recently we received the Best in the West award from the Western Regional Advertisers Association.
