BOOKTACULAR PUMPKIN PATCH Looking for some fun activities this Halloween season? We invite families to decorate a pumpkin to be part of our Booktacular Pumpkin Patch display in the library’s Children’s Department through the end of the month. Stop by the Children’s Department on Saturday, October 9 at 10:00am to pick up a pumpkin to decorate at home, as your favorite picture book character. Use paint, paper, ribbons, glitter, stickers or other adornments - and of course inspiration from your favorite stories - to decorate a superb squash. (Carved pumpkins get messy fast in the library, so we recommend saving the carving for your pumpkins at home!) Drop your decorated pumpkins off at the Children’s Department by October 21st to be included in our spooktacular pumpkin display! Pumpkins will be displayed through October 31st.
