Get Ready for Summer Reading 2021 The days are getting longer and the weather’s getting hotter. And that means we’re gearing up for the 2021 Summer Reading Program here at SPL! This year’s program runs from June 7—August 7, 2021 and we’ve got a lot of fun in store for all-ages. Registration begins May 10th for this annual reading challenge that offers incentives and prizes to all participants. The more you read & log, the more chances you have to win weekly and grand prize drawings. Help prevent learning loss and the dreaded

“summer slide” by keeping your child engaged in reading outside of school. Studies show that students who participate in reading programs during the summer spend more time reading, read with confidence, and are more prepared for school in the fall.
