We have once again arrived at the end of another school year, and just as quickly, a new one is coming.. It feels like only yesterday when the world came to a standstill in 2020 due to the pandemic—and now, after years of rebuilding the School of St. Anthony, Inc. we are finally reclaiming what was once paused. This year has been a testament to how far we’ve come.
Our benchmarking the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) in Macau sparked more than just inspiration—it blossomed into a milestone: our first-ever senior high school cultural immersion abroad, and a meaningful memorandum of understanding with the USJ. Hopefully, this partnership is just the start of more opportunities for cultural and educational exchange, collaborative research, and the sharing of best practices—building bridges that connect us to a global academic community.
Our students are stepping out into the world once more, representing SSA in international academic and athletic competitions. From different parts of Asia all the way to Texas, USA, our young ambassadors have made us proud. You can clearly see their accolades displayed along our school grounds.
This year also marked a revitalization of our alumni community. After our first international reunion in Las Vegas during the summer of 2024—an unforgettable gathering of Anthonians from various batches—our Alumni President, Atty. Rochelle Castro, ignited a renewed spirit of unity and purpose. Even while based in Australia, her leadership and passion proved that distance is no obstacle when one’s commitment to uniting the alumni is strong. Thanks to her initiative, and the energy and dedication of Hill Ramiro and Mikee Sajona, the SSA Alumni Basketball League is currently ongoing—bringing
together Anthonians across generations through camaraderie, sportsmanship, and shared pride.
Our students continue to excel in Mathematics, Science, and Communication Arts—subjects where they consistently shine. Many have proudly represented our school in both local and international competitions, bringing home awards that reflect not just their intelligence, but also their dedication and discipline.
In the field of sports, our student-athletes are just as driven. Both our taekwondo and swim teams made it to the regional level and proudly competed in the NCR Palaro 2025. Furthermore, across all athletic teams, there’s a renewed energy and commitment to return to peak performance. Our athletes are training harder than ever, pushing themselves to rise, rebuild, and reclaim their place in the competitive arena.
At the recently concluded National Schools Press Conference, we were filled with pride as one of our very own Izabelle Dimzon was named the Best Campus Journalist in NCR— and recognized as one of the best in the entire country. This remarkable achievement is not only a testament to the student’s talent and hard work, but also to the mentorship and support of their coaches that fuel our campus journalism program.
Adding to the celebration, SEVAP’s TV Broadcasting Team also brought home two prestigious awards, contributing significantly to Quezon City and the NCR region’s place among the top 5 across the nation.
This school year was made even more memorable by the return of well-loved events have returned as well, filling our community with excitement and joy.. The Pupil Government Idols made a vibrant comeback, giving our young performers the chance to shine and express themselves with confidence. Meanwhile, our ever-supportive Parent Council brought families together in a fun-filled Palarong Pinoy-style Family Day, reminding us of the strength and spirit that come from shared traditions and togetherness. And there’s even more to look forward to—our beloved SSA Cheerbellas are back in training, full of energy and determination as they prepare to light up future competitions once again.
This school year also brought meaningful updates to two important symbols of our identity: our school hymn and school logo. Thanks to the generosity of our talented alumnus, Glenn Aquias—a renowned cellist, composer, arranger, and international performer—our school hymn has been given a stunning new arrangement that beautifully
captures the heart and soul of the Anthonian spirit.
Meanwhile, our school logo underwent a thoughtful revamp to comply with official trademark requirements. This essential step ensures that our emblem is legally protected, reinforcing the integrity and authenticity of our institutional identity both locally and internationally.
While both the updated hymn and logo were soft-launched at the close of this school year, we are excited to announce their full and official launch this coming October 2025. It will be a proud moment of celebration as we present these renewed symbols of who we are.
In our ongoing commitment to providing a safe, comfortable, and future-ready learning environment, several key physical plant improvements are currently underway. The second floor of the Upper School Building is being rewired to accommodate new airconditioning units, ensuring a more conducive and comfortable space for both teaching and learning.
We are also investing in major upgrades to the St. Therese Building and St. Pascual Building, with plans to replace its roof, improve ceiling insulation, and address structural needs to enhance overall safety and durability. The Annex Building is also receiving attention, with a scheduled replacement of its flooring to improve both function and aesthetics.
Additionally, the exterior of the library, and the covered court stage will be repainted to give it a refreshed and welcoming look.
Preparations are also in full swing for the upcoming PAASCU accreditation visit this September—a vital exercise in reflection, accountability, and continuous improvement. This process allows us to take a closer look at our programs, systems, and practices to ensure that we continue to meet and exceed the standards of quality education.
Indeed, School Year 2024–2025 was a year of reconnection, resurgence, and remarkable milestones—a time when we rekindled the spirit of community, reignited long-paused traditions, and reached new heights as one Anthonian community. From meaningful cultural exchanges to student triumphs in academics, arts, and athletics, each moment is a reminder of what we can accomplish when we move forward together.
As we look ahead to School Year 2025–2026, we carry this momentum with hope, purpose, and passion.
With hearts full of pride in how far we’ve come and eyes set on the bright horizon ahead, we step into the new school year living out the very essence of our calling: Inspiring Excellence, Shaping Character.
PARTIAL LIST OF
COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY PASSERS
As the new chapter of their journey starts to unfold and they see the world in the bigger picture, the School of St. Anthony has never failed to produce students who are capable of facing reality. An achiever, an excellence, and a dream fulfiller—that’s what the school aims for its students to be. Furthermore, it is with pride and dignity that we present all the university and college passers who bravely conquered what came next to them.

EVOLUTION OF SCHOOL LOGO
The evolution of the School of St. Anthony’s logo from 1982 to the present reflects the institution’s growth, transformation, and enduring commitment to its core values. Over the years, it signifies the school’s continuous pursuit of excellence and refinement of its identity. Notably, the latest logo, launched in 2025, has already been officially trademarked. This means that the design is now legally protected and recognized as the exclusive symbol of the school.
LEGACY BUILDERS
They walked the halls of the School of St. Anthony with passion, character, and conviction. Now, they rise as beacons of academic excellence, graduating with Latin Honors from prestigious colleges and universities. Known as Anthonian Legacy Builders, these alumni carry the torch of Wisdom with Virtues (Sapientia et Virtus)—proof that greatness begins with values, and success is built one virtuous step at a time. Their achievements are not just personal milestones, but enduring legacies that inspire the next generation of Antonians.
