Awards, Grants, Professional Recognitions, and Honors ❖ On April 2, 2026, ICSST’s Preaching as Hospitality Formation Program was awarded a $10,000 grant from the Koch Foundation to facilitate a New York Pilgrimage and Writing Retreat Weekend.
This experience will teach participants to write meditations and spiritual
presentations and help them learn ways to emphasize the importance of prayer and community. Participants will visit the Shrine of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini and the Cloisters Museum in New York City. For the remainder of the weekend, participants will spend time at a retreat center to engage in writing, sharing, and providing feedback on one another’s work. This event will be held around October 1, the feast day of St. Thérèse of Lisieux, the patron saint of missionaries.
