Símbolos del Infinito” is an exhibition featuring more than ten original works by Ermilo Espinosa. It connects with the present, childhood, dreams, and everything that symbols represent in our dailylives.
Through the brush of Master Ermilo Espinosa, we encounter strokes that appearsurreal.Profoundgazesandsimple symbols draw us closer to art, transforming the complex into something harmonious and accessible to all audiences. This exhibition unites us, regardless of where we come from, how oldweare,orwhatwebelieve,throughthe symbols of the infinite that inhabit his work. A symbol is that which bridges what is seen with what is felt, a simple form containing an entire world, that which connects the mind with the heart. Among the pieces are “Journey to the Interior,” “From Before Birth,” and “The Final Moments of Immortality,” in which the artistemploysthesymboloftheinfiniteto constructavisuallanguagethatunitesthe visible with the inner self. The series remains in development, with three additional works currently in progress that furtherexpanduponthisexploration.
Ermilo Espinosa is a Mexican visual artist specializing in painting, whose work explores the balance between technical mastery and the poetic, philosophical dimensions of artistic creation. He holds a degree in Visual Arts with a specialization in Painting from the University of Guadalajara and has pursued further studiesatprominentculturalinstitutionsin Mexico. Influenced early on by his grandfather, Yucatecan artist Ermilo Torre Gamboa, Espinosa developed a deep commitment to painting as a means of introspectionanddialogue. His practice blends respect for traditional plastic arts with a continuous spiritual and philosophical inquiry, expressed through complex symbolism and the expressive power of the human face and gesture. Espinosa has presented solo exhibitions internationally in Mexico, Canada, France, and Cuba, and has participated in numerous group exhibitions and national biennials. His work is held in public and private collections, including the Presidential Gallery at Mexico’s National Palace.
