DIDIER MAYES Oaxacan Artist (Oaxaca, Mexico 1968-). He studied at the School of Fine Arts of Oaxaca and is also a graduate of the industrial design degree at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana Xochimilco campus. He has been immersed in art since childhood because his mother is a plastic artist, and he developed his talent with her. In his beginnings, he experimented with the manufacture of oil and pastel under the supervision of Maestro Liborio Navarrete developing his material and intense color. In his work, you get to notice his admiration for abstract expressionism. He is immersed in a dialogue of color, play, sometimes childish forms, and simple design, achieving an aesthetic harmony. This work has reached maturity because he has continued experimenting with new techniques and materials such as encaustic, acrylic, oil, plastic resins, metal, and wood engraving. The work of Maestro Didier has been presented in different parts of Mexico, South America, the United States, and Europe
