Ski Area Valmalenco Gli oltre sessanta chilometri di piste dei comprensori dell’Alpe Palù sono il biglietto da visita delle Valmalenco. Oggi chi vuole arrivare all’Alpe Palù lo può fare direttamente con la modernissima Snow Eagle, la più grande funivia del mondo che, con le sue cabine da 160 persone, lo porterà in un solo balzo a quota 2080 su un terrazzo da cui, con una vista mozzafiato, dominerà le Alpi. Chi invece preferisce un avvicinamento più graduale, lo può fare salendo i cinque chilometri di strada che separano Chiesa da San Giuseppe; da qui una nuova seggiovia quadriposto lo condurrà in pochi minuti, attraverso bellissime abetaie, all’Alpe Palù. E la neve? Niente paura, la neve è di casa in Valmalenco, da dicembre ad aprile inoltrato è sempre farinosa ed abbondante, e se per caso la neve smarrisse la strada di casa, i più moderni impianti di innevamento programmato sono pronti a intervenire per creare un ottimo fondo e quello spolverio che tanto piace agli sciatori.
More than 60 km of slopes make up the ski area of Alpe Palù, which are the most distinctive feature of Valmalenco. Those wishing to visit Alpe Palù can do so by means of the biggest cable car in the world, called the Snow Eagle, whose cars containing 160 people reach an altitude of 2080 metres in one great leap, onto a terrace overlooking Alpine views of breathtaking beauty. Those who prefer a more gradual approach can drive up the 5 km road which separate Chiesa from San Giuseppe, and than take the new four-seater chair lift up through the beautiful firwoods to Alpe Palù. What about the snow? No worries, the snow is at home in Valmalenco, floury and abundant from December to late April, but if it loses its way the modern artificial snow machines are programmed to make up for it.
Les plus de 60 km de pistes de l’Alpe Palù sont la meilleure carte de visite de Valmalenco. Aujourd’hui, ceux qui veulent se rendre à l’Alpe Palù peuvent le faire directement avec le Snow Eagle, le plus grand téléphérique du monde, qui, avec ses cabines de 160 personnes, conduit en un seul bond à 2.080 mètres d’altitude sur une terrasse qui domine les Alpes Retiche. Ceux qui préfèrent une approche plus graduelle, peuvent le faire en montant les 5 kilomètres de rue qui séparent Chiesa de San Giuseppe; de là un nouveau télésiège 4 places les mènera en quelque minutes à l’Alpe Palù, le vrai cueur de la zone, à travers des très belles sapinières. Et la neige? La neige est chez soi en Valmalenco: depuis le mois de décembre jusqu’au mois d’avril avancé elle est toujours farineuse et abondante, et si par hasard la neige perdait la rue, les plus modernes installations d’enneigement programmé sont prêtes à intervenir pour créer un fond excellent et cette poudre que plait beaucoup aux skieurs. Wer heute auf die Alpe Palu fahren möchte, kann das gemütlich mit der modernen Seilbahn Snow Eagle, dem größten Kabelnetzbetreiber in der Welt, tun. Mit ihrer Kabine bringt sie 160 Personen in einem einzigen Zug auf eine Terrasse von 2080 m Höhe, die die Alpen dominiert und von der man einen atemberaubenden Ausblick hat. Wer hingegen einen seichten Aufstieg bevorzugt, kann dies in einem schrittweisen Ansatz tun , in dem man die fünf Kilometer fährt, die Chiesa in Valmalenco von San Giuseppe trennen, um dort mit der neuen viersitzigen Sesselliftanlage durch schöne Kiefernwälder hindurch, auf die Alpe Palu zu fahren. Und der Schnee? Mach dir keine Sorgen, der Schnee ist im Valmalenco zu Hause, von Dezember bis Ende April ist er immer pulverig und reichlich vorhanden, und wenn durch Zufall der Schnee sich verirren sollte, gibt es die modernste Beschneiungsanlage um rechtzeitig einzugreifen um dann die Pisten so mit Kunstschnee vorzubereiten,dass es für den Skifahrer eine reine Freude ist.

La Valmalenco offre anche il terreno di gioco per gli sport della neve più d’avanguardia e più estremi. All’Alpe Palù è attrezzato uno snowpark, separato dalle piste per lo sci tradizionale, per cimentarsi nelle evoluzioni con lo snowboard e gli sci da freestyle, inoltre è allestita la pista per le spettacolari gare di boardercross e skicross. Valmalenco is also the playground for the most avant-garde and extreme snow sports. A snow-park has been set up in Alpe Palù, separated from the traditional slopes, where you can test yourself on snow-board and ski acrobatics, and there is also a special area set aside for the spectacular competitions of boardercross and skicross. La Valmalenco offre le terrain de jeu aussi pour les sports sur la neige d’avant-garde et extrêmes. À l’Alpe Palù est équipé un snowpark, séparé des pistes pour le ski traditionnel, pour s’amuser dans les évolutions avec le snowboard et les skis de freestyle. On trouve aussi la piste préparée pour les spectaculaires compétitions de boardercross et skicross.

In Valmalenco, al cospetto di scenari di impagabile bellezza, si trovano tracciati e anelli per lo sci di fondo adatti ad ogni tipo di esigenza. Alle piste naturali del Lago Palù, che si snodano per 17 chilometri in una splendida e soleggiatissima conca a 2000 metri di quota, si affiancano gli anelli di San Giuseppe, fino a 30 chilometri e i 7 dell’anello di Lanzada, di cui un chilometro con percorso illuminato artificialmente. A San Giuseppe e a Lanzada due moderni centri fondo offrono ospitalità agli sportivi, mentre all’Alpe Palù le attrezzature della skiarea offrono ogni possibilità di ristoro e relax.

In Valmalenco, surrounded by scenary of breathtaking beauty, you can find cross-country tracks and circuits to suit all needs. The natural ski runs of Lake Palù, which extends for over 17 kilometres in a splendid sun-filled dell at an altitude of 2000 metres, are flanked by the San Giuseppe circuits, which make up 30 kilometres, and the 7 kilometres of the Lanzada circuit, of which one kilometres has artificial illumination. In San Giuseppe and Lanzada two modern cross-country centers offer accomodation for skiers, whereas at Alpe palù there are many places to eat and relax in the ski-area.
En Valmalenco à la présence de cadres de incroyable beauté, se trouvent des anneaux pour le ski de fond convenables à toutes demandes. Aux pistes naturelles du Lac Palù, qui serpentent pour 17 kilomètres dans une splendide et ensoleillée cuvette à 2000 mètres d’altitude, on ajoute les anneaux de San Giuseppe (30 km) et de Lanzada (7 km) dont un kilomètre de parcour éclairé artificiellement. A San Giuseppe et Lanzada, deux modernes centres de ski de fond offrent hospitalité aux sportifs et à l’Alpe Palù les restaurants et les bars offrent toutes possibilitées de détente et relax.
In Valmalenco, in einem einzigartigen Landschaft, findet man Loipen in allen Schwierigkeitsgraden; neben den natürlichen Loipen des Palù See, die sich über 17 km in einem wunderschönen und sonnigen Mulde auf einer Höhenlage von 2000 m schlängeln, gibt es die Rundtouren von San Giuseppe (bis 30 km lang) und Lanzada (7 km, wovon 1 km artifiziell beleuchtet ist). Die zwei moderne Langlauf-Zentren von San Giuseppe und Lanzada bieten Sportlern Gastfreundschaft und Entspannung.

SCIALPINISMO CIASPOLE La montagna, specie in inverno, regala sensazioni uniche. Un’atmosfera magica, fiabesca, che avvolge le escursioni con le racchette da neve ai piedi, o con gli sci in ampie conche punteggiate di conifere, laghi alpini ghiacciati, placidi villaggi e cime maestose. La Valmalenco offre tutto questo e molto ancora, come le escursioni scialpinistiche sui ghiacciai del Bernina o del Disgrazia per poi tuffarsi in discese mozzafiato.

ALPINE SKIING SNOWSHOEING The mountains - especially during the winter - offer a one-of-a-kind experience. A magical ambiance, almost fairy-tale like, that washes over the trekkers with snowshoes or skiers as they encounter expansive, snow-covered clearings dotted with evergreens, frozen Alpine lakes, sleepy little villages and majestic mountain tops. Valmalenco offers all this and much more, including Alpine skiing excursions to the Bernina or Disgrazia mountains’ glaciers that lead trekkers to breath-taking slopes.
SKI ALPIN SKI DE RANDONNEE La montagne, surtout en hiver, offre sensations uniques. Une atmosphère magique, de conte de fées qui enveloppe les excursions en raquettes de neige aux pieds ou avec le skis en amples cuvettes pointillées de conifères, lacs alpins, villages placides et sommets majestuex. La Valmalenco offre tout ça et beaucoup plus, comme les excursions de ski alpin sur les glaciers du Bernina ou du Disgrazia pour se plonger en déscentes qui coupent le souffle.

Valmalenco hat dies und viel mehr zu bieten, zum beispiel Skialpinismus auf dem Bernina oder auf dem Disgrazia Gletscher, und atemberaubenden Abfahrtskilaufen. Eine großartige Aussicht über verschneite Landschaften und ein wunderschöner Blick über das Bergpanorama belohnen die Anstrengung.
