Congratulations, graduating class of 2026. You survived high school! You and thousands of other high school seniors across Brevard County will attend graduation ceremonies and receive your hard-earned diplomas. You have overcome countless hardships to get here, so hold yourself proudly. Parents, if you have a child graduating from high school this year, you’ll find that this is a bittersweet milestone. All those years of driving your children back and forth, helping them with homework and attending recitals, shows, practices and games have led up to this moment. Your child made it through the ring of fire — and so have you. Your children may have questions about their next steps: “What college should I choose? Should I enlist in the military?” and “Would it be better to join the workforce? Where do I go from here?” What crucial words of wisdom do they need to hear to guide them into the future? Viera Voice has gathered tips from some of Brevard County’s top community leaders to help this year’s graduating seniors enter the next chapter of their lives.
