Learning Lake to honor the memory of Jordan Blass BY MIKE GAFFEY A recently completed pollinator garden near a Suntree stormwater retention pond is the first step toward restoring green space at the pond, which is set to be dedicated later this year in memory of a student struck and killed by a car in 1999. In mid-February, Suntree
Master Homeowners Association staff and volunteers planted Floridafriendly wildflowers and plants meant to provide a habitat for birds, bees and butterflies. It also installed a bench at the northern edge of the pond at Jordan Blass Drive and St. Andrews Boulevard.
