Camino experience leaves you longing to do it again BY R. NORMAN MOODY
Buen Camino! It is a phrase we heard and said repeatedly to sometimes-exhausted pilgrims as we walked the Camino de Santiago from Valença, Portugal to Santiago de Compostela, Spain. Our pilgrimage took us through villages and alleys of ancient stone buildings, through green moss-covered lush forests and along vineyards. The entire trek was 124 kilometers or 77.5 miles, which we did in six-and-a-half days. SENIOR LIFE Jill Blue
