Selfless Love Foundation is a non-profit organization that leverages resources, expertise, and proven solutions to improve the child welfare system, creating opportunities for more foster youth to find their forever families and thrive in adulthood. We work in three key areas – adoption, independent living, and advocacy – to transform the lives of children currently in foster care and youth who have aged out of the system.
Adoption
Selfless Love Families is committed to supporting families along their adoption journey, creating opportunities for children in foster care to find their forever families, partnering with agencies to reduce barriers to adoption, and raising awareness regarding the need for adoptive parents.
Independent Living
Selfless Love Foundation empowers youth impacted by foster care to build confidence, leadership, and life skills while providing the guidance and support they need to thrive.
By fostering personal growth, community, and self-advocacy, we prepare young adults to step confidently into independence and embrace their full potential.
Advocacy
Selfless Love Foundation advocates for policy changes and practice improvements in the child welfare system. Youth impacted by foster care are at the heart of our advocacy work. Our Advocacy Team works in partnership with youth, child welfare agencies, and legislators to drive meaningful change for children in care today and for future generations.

Selfless Love Academy (SL Academy) is the capstone of Selfless Love Foundation’s independent living initiative. It is an intensive life and leadership training program for young adults who have experienced foster care.
As a prerequisite to applying, youth must complete the Dale Carnegie Foundation for Success course. During the nearly year-long program, students commit to more than 150 hours of leadership training, including financial literacy, public speaking, business etiquette, and one-on-one executive coaching.
The program culminates in a graduation celebration, where each youth delivers a speech reflecting on their journey. Scholars are evaluated on their commitment to the program and the strength of their presentation. All graduates receive monetary awards, and one outstanding individual is selected as the Top Scholar — the program’s highest honor.

Silent Auction at Cocktail Hour & Live Auction Program – Saturday, April 11
Thank you for supporting Selfless Love Foundation. Your participation helps further our mission and directly impacts the lives of youth who have experienced foster care. Please review the following information before placing your bid.
Bidder Registration
All guests wishing to participate in the Silent or Live Auction must be registered and receive a bid number. Each bid number is assigned to a registered guest and is non-transferable. The registered bidder is responsible for all bids placed using their bid number.
Bidding
The Silent Auction will be open during cocktail hour. Each bid placed in the Silent Auction is a binding commitment to purchase if you are the winning bidder. Please bid thoughtfully. The highest bid at the close of the Silent Auction wins. Winning bids will be confirmed by Selfless Love Foundation staff. Staff decisions are final in any dispute.
Many Silent Auction packages will include a “Buy Now” option, allowing guests to immediately secure an item at the listed price without further bidding. Once a Buy Now option is selected, bidding on that item will close and the item will be awarded to the guest who selects the Buy Now price.
The Live Auction will take place during the Gala program. Bids for Live Auction items will be accepted verbally by the auctioneer. The highest bid recognized by the auctioneer at the conclusion of bidding will be deemed the winning bid. The auctioneer’s decision is final in the event of any dispute. By participating in the Live Auction, bidders acknowledge that all bids are binding commitments to purchase.
Payment
Payment and collection of auction items are preferred on the night of the Gala. Accepted payment methods include credit card, check, or other approved forms. Items cannot be redeemed or fulfilled until payment is received. All sales are final; no refunds or exchanges.
If payment is not completed at the Gala, items must be collected within seven (7) business days, or they may be offered to the next highest bidder.

Immediate pickup at the Gala is preferred. Certain items may be hand-delivered in select areas within St. Lucie, Martin, Palm Beach, and Broward counties; delivery fees may apply.

Selfless Love Foundation takes a hybrid approach to housing, partnering with providers in Florida and Texas to support youth who have aged out of foster care.
