One moment can change a day. One day can change a life, and one life can change the world. For me, that one day was my adoption day. It was a day that changed my life forever. I felt like the luckiest girl in the world to have been adopted and always said, one day, I am going to pay back this incredible blessing. My one day started in 2015 when my husband and I established the Selfless Love Foundation as a vehicle to help children in foster care. We chose to help the most vulnerable - the hardest to place children waiting to be adopted and the youth aging out of care without the support of a family. We wanted to give them the greatest gift of all - FAMILY. Thanks to the outpouring of love and support from our friends and family, the hard work of our Selfless Love team, and our incredible child welfare partners, we have impacted thousands of lives. And it all began on that one day when I was blessed with a family. Words cannot express the depth of my gratitude for your support of our mission. OVER 100,000 CHILDREN IN THE U.S. ARE SITTING IN FOSTER CARE WAITING TO BE ADOPTED. This year, more than 20,000 children will age out of the system without a family to support them during their transition to adulthood. With the help of our partners and your selfless support, we are transforming the lives of current and former foster youth by giving every child the chance to have a forever family and the support they need to become self-sufficient adults. ADOPTION Working with partners to streamline the adoption process, creating better matches, improving caseworker efficiency, and reducing the time of adoption. INDEPENDENT LIVING Trainings, resources, and once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to assist youth who are aging out of the child welfare system in becoming self-sufficient and thriving adults. ADVOCACY Working with state agencies, legislatures, and partners to strengthen systems and policies needed to reduce the barriers to foster care adoptions.

Adoption-Share’s Family-Match Program Selfless Love Foundation believes that every child deserves a forever family. There are no unwanted children, just unfound families. Together, Selfless Love Foundation and Adoption-Share are helping to find forever families for children in Florida. Through our generous donors, Selfless Love Foundation has made Adoption-Share’s Family-Match Program for adoption matching, available to families and child placement agencies in Florida at no cost. The innovative program uses predictive analytics to help workers more efficiently match families and children on markers of compatibility. Selfless Love Foundation is honored to have been a part of matching more than 600 children in the state of Florida. Brown’s Harbor Brown’s Harbor is a collaboration between Selfless Love Foundation and Children’s Harbor to provide supportive housing for youth ages 18-23. The campus in Pembroke Pines, Florida aims to help youth who have aged out of foster care make the transition to independence. The complex of beautifully appointed two-bedroom cottages includes a community center and a boutique where residents can select casual and professional attire. While youth at Brown’s Harbor are required to attend school or hold a job, their rent is affordable allowing them to learn financial responsibility and self-sufficiency. On-site staff members offer training, support, and guidance, but most importantly the young adults at Brown’s Harbor belong to a community.

One Voice IMPAACT One Voice IMPAACT (OVI), provides current and former foster youth opportunities to: DEVELOP skills for leadership and life, ADVOCATE for themselves and changes to policy, and JOIN a network of youth leaders who are making a difference in child welfare today and for generations to come. Over the past year, OVI reached almost 500 youth and young adults with lived experience in Florida’s foster care system and another 75 child welfare system professionals who seek to improve youth engagement, utilizing our tools and resources. Our network of young people and child welfare system professionals has generated a Youth Voice Movement, giving youth voice center stage to raise awareness about the value of youth participation in decisions that impact their future. Our joint advocacy efforts impact over 7,000 transition-age foster youth in Florida, ages 13-22.

Providing former foster youth with opportunities to achieve their dreams The Dream Tank competition provides former foster youth across the state with the opportunity to present their dreams and aspirations to a panel of business leader judges. The five youth finalists, who have all completed the Dale Carnegie Leadership Training, were selected to participate in a nine-month program to help them prepare for the Dream Tank Competition and success in life. Youth presentations at the competition last night were judged on content, organization, delivery, and stage presence. What’s Next? Each finalist has received $1,000, and the winner who will be announced tonight, will receive $5,000. All finalists will also serve as mentors to next year’s Dream Tank Finalists. We look forward to announcing the winner tonight!

SILENT AUCTION RULES & INFORMATION Payment and Sales Tax Sales tax will not be collected based upon current law. According to the State of Florida Department of Revenue, this is a one-time event held annually, sales are tax exempt. Credit cards used to place your bid on GiveSmart bid/donation will be processed to the card on file within five working days of the event unless otherwise agreed upon. Selfless Love Foundation, Inc. auction proceeds go to fulfill its mission. Therefore, refunds are not possible. Auction Lot Pick Up and Shipping Items will be delivered to winners who are in South Florida. Shipping and handling may apply to winners outside of South Florida. Federal Tax Information For Federal Income Tax purposes, all payment for auction lots shall be made to Selfless Love Foundation, Inc.
