Dear Friends, It’s truly incredible to think about all the lives Selfless Love Foundation has transformed over the last five years thanks to your continued support. As you may know, we set up Selfless Love Foundation in 2015, in lieu of wedding gifts. The driving force behind our desire to make a difference for children is Ashley’s personal experience with adoption. Little did we know the foundation we were building our family on, would be the foundation for hundreds of other families. In a very short five years, we have been overwhelmed by the continued support of our friends. Many of you believed in our dream from day one and watched it become a reality over the years. Whether we are finding families for children or being an extension of family for our aged-out youth, we know the greatest way to CHANGE a life is through a gift of a family. Selfless Love Foundation continues to provide supportive housing, life skills, leadership training, and other resources to bridge the gap to independence for former foster youth. Realizing firsthand the power of a family, Selfless Love Foundation has multiple initiatives to bring attention to children in foster care, through adoption awareness campaigns, educational services, and leveraging Adoption-Share’s Family-Match technology to help find forever families for foster children! In partnership with Adoption-Share, we recently celebrated over 300 children being matched with families and 100th Family-Match adoption! Even in these uncertain times, two things do not change: our mission to transform the lives of foster children through the gift of a family, and our greatest appreciation of our friends and supporters. We are so grateful to be on this journey with all of you, to work alongside you, to dream with you, and TOGETHER leave our fingerprint on the world and change lives FOREVER. With Love,

Current Foster Youth: Family Recruitment Photoshoots Photoshoots directly lead to foster children finding their forever families. Simply put, these photos serve as the child’s resume and significantly increase their chances of being adopted. These beautiful photos are the first images a family sees when a caseworker alerts them that they have found a child who would be a good fit. The photos showcase their personalities and how they’re just like our very own children with no greater desire than to be loved.
Current Foster Youth: Adoption-Share’s Family-Match Together, Selfless Love Foundation and Adoption-Share are helping find forever families for children in Florida. Adoption-Share’s Family-Match program is an innovative technology that uses a compatibility assessment created by former senior researchers at eHarmony to better match foster children with their forever family.

Former Foster Youth: Transitional Housing Through a partnership with Children’s Harbor, Selfless Love Foundation formed Brown’s Harbor, a supportive housing community. Brown’s Harbor offers on-site staff, training, and support services for former foster youth ages 18-23, helping to bridge the gap from dependence to independence. • • •

Then I found Brown’s Harbor and my life changed forever.” After identifying his goal of becoming a UPS driver, Tyler, reached out to SLF Board Chair Ed Brown to learn how to drive a manual vehicle. Not only did Tyler get his position as a driver, he worked his way up to management!
