New Seguin Crossing Shopping Center on its way up Cindy Aguirre-Herrera
(Seguin) -- Everything looks to be on schedule for the construction of the new Seguin Crossing shopping center. Crews can be seen working daily at the location just east of the Starbucks store near IH-10 and State Highway 123. Josh Schneuker, the executive director of the Seguin Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) says as soon as the announcement was made, developers did not hesitate in getting started. “They are hoping to start going vertical with some of the buildings here before the end of the month. That’s kind of their next big target in terms of the construction schedule but the hope and the goal is to have these stores open in time for the holiday season. So, really working hard with them to try to get that accomplished so they can be open just in time for Black Friday,” said Schneuker. News of the shopping center was shared last year in September.
