Juneteenth BBQ Fundraiser plus membership drive to support MLK Day programs Cindy Aguirre-Herrera
(Seguin) -- The MLK Seguin Planning Committee is inviting residents to celebrate Juneteenth with a plate of BBQ. The local group will be hosting its Juneteenth Freedom Day BBQ Fundraiser this Saturday. The fundraiser will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Seguin Youth Services building. Committee member Regina Lee says attendees will have plenty of food to enjoy as part of the event. “We have a BBQ plate, and you get your choice, either a leg quarter, which is the thigh and the leg, or else sausage with ribs on the side.
