& Daddy’s ‘lil Cowgirls Alejandro Veliz Jr. along with his daughters Alexandria and Azariah were among those in attendance at this year’s annual Boots and Beauties Father, Daughter Dance held Saturday at the Seguin Coliseum. The annual dance, formerly the Cinderella Ball, is hosted by the Seguin Police Department. Organizers say this year, they wanted to toss in the western theme in hopes of changing things up again. Seguin ISD looks to name a possible superintendent finalist Cindy Aguirre-Herrera
(Seguin) – The Seguin ISD is set to consider naming a lone finalist for its next superintendent of schools. District officials say the board intends to vote on and name its top pick at tonight’s
regular meeting. The district over the weekend announced that candidate interviews had been completed and that the district was on its way to naming new leadership. That person, however,
will still have to wait for the state’s required 21 days before he or she can officially assume the position. The individual selected will replace former Superintendent Dr. Veronica Vijil who will retire at
the end of the year. The meeting gets underway at 6:30 p.m. in the Seguin ISD Administration Building located at 1221 E. Kingsbury. See the agenda here: https://pulse.ly/haenw0zzcn
