(Seguin) -- Seguin ISD’s new superintendent provided his first official district update during Tuesday’s meeting of the Seguin ISD Board of Trustees. Although he’s only been in the district a few days, Superintendent Dr. Jack Lee has wasted no time in getting things in order. Plus, he’s recognizing those who are working to get the new year started. “Administration teams are working very diligently to get everything ready to go. I also want to thank and give a lot of credit to our maintenance crews, our custodians, our technology teams that are all working very hard to get us prepared for the start of the school year. One department that sometimes doesn’t get the credit that they absolutely deserve this time of the year is our human resources department. Mr.
(Jeremy) Nueman and his entire team – they have been working very, very diligently to get all of our new hires set and ready to go. They’ve been hosting new teachers. They will host New Teacher Academy coming up. They’ve been hosting new employee hire processes and orientation for the past couple of weeks. I was able to attend my first one on Monday. Nothing is quite as exciting as welcoming people to new Message, pg. 3
