Camp Broadway Kids present “9 to 5” at Texas Theatre Darren Dunn
(Seguin) -- A popular 1980’s movie is being brought to the stage at the Texas Theatre, thanks to a large group of talented kids. The live-stage production of “9 to 5” is being presented by students participating in this year’s Camp Broadway. Show Director Aidan Martinez says they had dozens of kids sign up for this year’s summer camp, and he thinks that audiences will be impressed with this year’s show. “Camp Broadway is a yearly theater camp that we do at the Texas Theatre here in Seguin. We’ve been doing it since I started as a camper, actually, and now I’m a show director. This is my eighth year directing Camp Broadway shows. It’s just the way that we get to help Seguin grow in the arts and help establish these young thespians,” said Martinez. Theatre, pg. 3
