Navarro ISD seeks community input for first-ever elementary attendance boundary committee

(Geronimo) -- As Navarro ISD’s newest elementary school continues to take shape, district leaders are already looking ahead by asking the community to help determine future attendance boundaries. Navarro ISD has officially launched applications for its 2026-27 Elementary Attendance Boundaries Committee, a citizen-led
group that will recommend attendance boundaries ahead of the August 2027 opening of Navarro South Elementary located on East Martindale Road. Navarro ISD Superintendent Dr. Mandy Epley says the committee will play a vital role in the district’s fast paced growth. “This is the point in the process where we
really need our community involved,” said Epley. She explained that committee members will work alongside the district’s demographer and staff to examine enrollment growth, neighborhood geography, transportation routes and future development before making recommendations to the Navarro ISD Board of Trustees.
