Lottery scratch off ticket sold in Seguin (Seguin) -- A lottery winner in Seguin is the state’s newest millionaire. Texas Lottery officials have confirmed that the resident won the top prize of $1 million in the lottery scratch-off ticket game Platinum Millions. They say the ticket was reportedly purchased at Main
Street Market #167. The store is located at 6150 West I-H 10. According to officials, the winner has chosen to remain anonymous. They say one more top prize of $1 million has yet to be claimed in the Platinum Millions scratch-off game.
City of Seguin's
BUDGET grows in size
(Seguin) -- Growth in the city of Seguin is also causing the city’s budget to grow. The proposed 2024-25 fiscal year general fund budget calls for the city to spend just over $54 million dollars next year. That compares to the
$50.3 million that was adopted for general fund expenditures at this time last year. The general fund includes those things that are normally funded by property taxes, like parks and public safety services. Budget, pg. 3
