(Seguin) -- The filing period for Seguin ISD Board of Trustee seats in Voting Districts 1, 3 and 6 is officially open. Those currently representing the seats include Trustee District 1 Carl Jenkins; Trustee District 3 Grace Mueller and Trustee District 6 Ben Amador. Residents of these districts who are interested in becoming a board candidate must pick up an application packet at the Seguin ISD Central Office. Completed packets must be returned to Central Office no later than Aug. 19 at 5 p.m. The terms of office for trustees in voting districts 1, 3 and 6 expire Nov. 5, 2024 and are four-year terms. The Seguin ISD Single Member District map which outlines respective voting districts can be found at https:// www.seguin.k12.tx.us/page/board. districts. Pick up a voter registration application at either one of the Elections Office locations and return it at least 30 days before the election date. Applications can be picked up at 215 S.
