(Seguin) -- A local 16-year-old girl remains in critical condition after being shot by her boyfriend Saturday afternoon. Seguin Police Department officials say the incident was reported at around 4 p.m. Saturday in the 1200 block of West Court Street. Officers say upon arrival, they found the girl bleeding from the head. The girl was airlifted to a San Antonio hospital where she continues to fight for her life. The teen suspect, a 14-year-old male, has been identified and remains in custody. He is charged with assault with a deadly weapon, serious bodily injury – family violence. The case remains under investigation.
