Seguin High School to welcome new principal Cindy Aguirre-Herrera
(Seguin) -- The Seguin ISD has officially introduced a new school principal for Seguin High School. The formal announcement comes after longtime Principal Dr. Hector Esquivel announced his retirement earlier this spring.
On Tuesday, Cindy Moreno, the chief human resource officer for the Seguin ISD, introduced the newly selected principal, Christine Perez, to members of the Seguin ISD Board of Trustees. District officials say after several qualified
candidates from around the state applied and were interviewed, the district's search led them to an internal candidate, Perez, who up until now served as the director of school leadership. Principal, pg. 3
