(Seguin) -- The Seguin-Guadalupe County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is inviting its members and the community to its 35th Annual Awards Banquet. The banquet is scheduled for Thursday night at the Seguin Coliseum. Helping to plan for the event is newly appointed Chamber Chairwoman Christina Krueger. Although new to the current board of directors, Krueger is no stranger to the local Hispanic chamber. Krueger held the same position nearly 10 years ago. Taking over the reigns this time, however, is still pretty exciting for Krueger. Krueger says the future is bright and looks forward to taking the chamber in a new direction. “I’m excited to come back helping in a leadership position here at the chamber. I look forward -- pre COVID -- it affected businesses in a lot of different ways. It affected the chamber drastically because we worked off of a lot of volunteers and COVID kind of changed everybody’s life. Coming back 10 years later, here I am again. I just want to get the chamber back on track, working with its members. We are excited. Banquet, pg. 3
