DPS seeks public's help in fatal hit and run in Guadalupe County

(Guadalupe County) -- The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is asking for the public's help in a fatal hit-andrun crash investigation that killed a pedestrian. DPS officials say the fatal crash occurred between 12:30 and 1:15 a.m. Saturday on State Highway 123 near the Guadalupe and Hays County line. Troopers say based on roadway evidence, a male pedestrian was struck by a gray
vehicle in the southbound lane of SH 123. Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance. The driver of the vehicle failed to stop and render aid and is currently being sought by investigators for questioning. Anyone including automotive body shop owners/ employees - who has information on this fatal crash, is encouraged to immediately contact the Texas Department of Public Safety Office at (210) 531-2280.
