CCSCT releases utility assistance applications for 2023 Local funding now also available for water bills Cindy Aguirre-Herrera
(Seguin) -- It’s the start of a brand new year and another year of the CCSCT helping local families with their light, gas, and now water bills. The Community Council of South Central Texas is announcing another round of funding for these services through the Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (C.E.A.P.). The program is provided to low-income families thanks to the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs. This year, two applications are available, one for new clients, and another for returning clients
looking to reapply for 2023 assistance. The renewal application will not require returning clients to submit identifying documents unless there was a change or addition to the previous application cycle. CCSCT Program Director Carol Delgado says the program combines education and financial assistance to help lowincome consumers reduce their utility bills. “The C.E.A.P.
