(Seguin) -- It's Show Day! Get ready to take a trip back to the 20's as doors open today for Seguin Showcase 2020. This year's Roaring 20s themed event gets underway this morning at the Seguin Coliseum. The business expo is hosted each year by the Seguin Area Chamber of Commerce. Chamber President Kendy Gravett says she hopes everyone stops by today for the various events going on. "Showcase Seguin is a way for us to promote our member businesses in a trade show like atmosphere except it is way more fun than just a trade show. We always include all kinds of interactive games to get the booths and the attendees involved in having fun while getting to know what the business does," said Gravett. Fire shuts down local HEB store there was a small fire inside the store early Wednesday morning. That's according to Jennifer Sourdellia, the public information officer for the city of Seguin.

Coronavirus Death Toll Tops 1,100 (Beijing) -- The novel coronavirus continues to claim lives in China. The country's national health commission says the illness has now claimed more than 11-hundred lives as of Tuesday night. Only two people outside of mainland China have died from the virus, one in Hong Kong and the other in the Philippines. There are more than 45-thousand confirmed coronavirus cases around the world, most of which being in China. The U.S. has at least 13 confirmed cases.

HIV Positive Airmen Fight To Stay In Air Force (Washington, DC) -- LGBTQ advocates are preparing to take the U.S. government to court over its policies on HIV-positive service members. Supporters have filed a lawsuit on behalf of two young Air Force members who said they were discharged after being diagnosed with HIV. The suit claims that the men, identified by the pseudonyms Richard Roe and Victor Voe, were unjustly let go as the military rules do not call for automatic dismissal due to the medical condition. The military argued that the men could pose a risk to fellow service members on the battlefield who could come in contact with their blood.

Indiana Governor Vows To Try Again For Pregnancy Protections (Indianapolis, IN) -- Indiana's governor says he is not giving up when it comes to trying to make things easier for pregnant women at work. Governor Eric Holcomb yesterday said he will try again with a proposed pregnancy protection law. The Indiana Senate turned the idea down last week. The legislation would allow pregnant moms to take more breaks or swap tasks to get them more time off their feet. Business groups in the state worry about what the regulations may mean for employers.

Expert Warns Of Fatty Liver Disease (Cedar Grove, NJ) -- Fatty Liver disease is a common condition in middle-aged Americans, affecting more than 80-million people. Major risk factors include obesity and Type 2 Diabetes. Complications can include cirrhosis and liver cancer. Wayne Eskridge, a New Jersey man who founded the Fatty Liver Foundation, says there is no cure, so the best way to treat it is to avoid getting it in the first place.
