(Seguin) -- A new company has taken over the reins of Remarkable Healthcare, located at 1339 Eastwood Drive across from Wal-Mart. Riverbend Nursing and Rehabilitation Center acquired the local facility, basically overnight, after the former
owners—according to some employees—failed to financially manage the company. The civil matter, which reportedly last week also involved the Seguin Police Department, has since been tangled in legal matters – Remarkable, pg. 3
Seguin resident strikes it rich in lottery scratch off game A Seguin resident has hit the jackpot after scratching a winning $1 million lottery ticket. According to the Texas Lottery Commission, the winning Million Dollar Loteria ticket was purchased at the Stripes Store located at 204 Loop 337 in New Braunfels. Officials say the winner has chosen to remain anonymous. Lottery officials say the overall odds of winning any prize in the game are one in 3.29. They say this is the fourth of 10 top prizes worth $1 million to be claimed in this particular game. The game offers a total of $384 million in prizes.
