• Cross-curricular lesson design includes real-world connections for students to investigate and apply their knowledge • Students have the opportunity for authentic, hands-on learning experiences and can easily capture them with photo and video tools • Intuitive and open-ended multimodal learning tools put student voice and choice first and allow students to engage with the same concept through a variety of mediums • Creative canvas encourages creative expression in a safe environment where students can to learn, practice, and showcase their learning • In K-5 computer science curriculum, students make real-world choices that build leadership skills and teach critical digital citizenship skills • Community lesson library contains thousands of activities that are created by educators from around the world and vetted by the Seesaw Curriculum team for approval

• Teachers, family members, and classmates can leave text or voice comments on student work to support the learning process providing an authentic audience • Student groups and flexible messaging provide engaging collaborative experiences for students with their peers • Lessons invite students to connect and practice their skills with real-world application prompts and activities both in class, and at home • Flexible activity models are designed following the gradual release model - perfect for whole class, small group, or independent learning • Libraries provide resources and activities for healthy lifestyles and developmentally appropriate social emotional learning • Digital portfolios prompt students to self-assess, reflect on their growth, and make connections between their work and learning objectives
