At Students for Eco-Education and Agriculture (SEEAG), we connect students and communities to the hands and lands that feed us. Since 2008, our hands-on, STEMbased programs have provided meaningful agricultural education for in the classroom and on the farm that is locally relevant, engaging, and always offered free of charge.
Each year, SEEAG reaches more than 5,000 students and 12,000 community members through four core programs: Farm Day, Farm-to-Food Lab, STEM Career Pathways in Agriculture, and the Youth Wellness Initiative. Through our Journey of Food curriculum and inquiry-based, hands-on learning opportunities, elementary, middle and high school students and learners of all ages gain a deeper understanding of where their food comes from, the importance of agriculture to community and environmental health, and the diverse career opportunities shaping the future of our food system
This sponsorship opportunities packets outlines a variety of support opportunities across our core programs, annual events, and campaigns These partnerships directly support program delivery, expand access for underserved students and Title 1 schools, and ensure that all of SEEAG offerings not only remain free, but deepen in impact.
We are proud to work alongside partners across Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties who are committed to STEM education, agriculture, and community impact. Your support plays a vital role in inspiring the next generation and strengthening connections in our local food system between students, community members, educators, researchers and farmers.
On behalf of the 17,000 people who will participate in SEEAG’s free programs this year, thank you for your support and partnership.
Sincerely,

Caitlin Paulus Case Executive Director Liz Shura Director of Development

VENTURA & SANTA BARBARA COUNTIES
ALL AGES
Farm Day, including the annual Ventura County and Santa Barbara County Farm Days and Farm Day Every Day, is a community education initiative that brings the public onto local farms to connect with and learn directly from the people who grow our food.

On 3.63 acres in Oxnard, made possible by a 20-year, $0-per-year lease with the County of Ventura and partnership with the Ventura County Probation Agency, the Southbank Learning Farm will grow more than food. It will sow knowledge and cultivate brighter futures.

Becoming a fundraiser sponsor or matching donor is a powerful way to support SEEAG’s programs when funding is needed most. From covering field trip transportation for thousands of students to helping expand access to fresh produce at Title 1 schools, your sponsorship makes an incredible impact.
January 2026 | Farm-to-Food Lab
Bus Bucks funds transportation for students to attend SEEAG’s Farm-toFood Lab field trips in Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties, removing one of the largest barriers schools face to participation in STEM, outdoor field trips. By covering bus costs, this campaign ensures more students can experience hands-on agricultural education and connect with the farms and farmers who grow their food. SEEAG reimburse schools on a sliding scale from $200-$500 per bus, averaging a $300 reimbursement per field trip.
June 2026 | Youth Wellness Initiative
Double Your Impact is SEEAG’s annual matching gift campaign that encourages donors to give by doubling the value of every contribution through one or more matching donors With double the incentive to donate, this campaign amplifies community generosity and expands access to SEEAG’s no-cost education programs. The 2026 campaign will raise funds to expand monthly Produce Pop-Ups at Title 1 schools in Ventura County
September 2026 | All Youth Education Programs

Back to School helps launch the school year by funding essential program costs, supplies, and early-season programming This campaign ensures students begin the year with the tools to engage in hands-on experiences that set the foundation for learning and exploration. SEEAG’s free programs cost $65 to $86 per student, making this early investment critical to keeping programs accessible and up-to-date
December 2026 | Southbank Learning Farm
SEEAG’s Christmas Tree Sale offers the Central Coast community sustainably harvested fir trees from Northern California at a great value, with all 2026 proceeds supporting programs at the Southbank Learning Farm in Oxnard This holiday fundraiser not only provides families with fresh-cut, straight-from-the-Sierra’s trees, but also supports program development and on-farm opportunitites for at-risk and just-involved youth.

Access to agricultural education is essential for fostering a deeper understanding of where our food comes from and its impact on our health and the environment. Yet many students, and much of our broader community, lack opportunities to engage in hands-on, experiential learning that connects them to the farm origins of their food and builds food literacy. SEEAG’s programs address this gap by providing free, dynamic educational experiences that inspire youth to explore their local agroecosystem, empower informed decision-making, and contribute to a more sustainable future.
