Welcome to the 2026 annual Heritage Round We warmly welcome Marist College Canberra, our Old Boys, parents, families, friends and members of the wider community to St Edmund's College for our annual Heritage Round. Heritage Round remains one of the most significant occasions on our College calendar. It is a celebration of our history, our traditions and, most importantly, the people who have shaped the St Edmund's story across generations. Through Rugby, Football and Basketball, we come together to honour the strong bonds of community and brotherhood. Today provides a wonderful opportunity for past and present members of our community to reconnect, share stories, renew friendships and reflect on the legacy that has been entrusted to us. Whether you are attending Mass, joining us for morning tea, touring the College, supporting from the sidelines, or representing St Edmund's on the field or court, your presence contributes to the spirit of this special day. Thank you for being here and for playing your part in celebrating the enduring connection between St Edmund's College and Marist College Canberra. We value this long-standing sporting rivalry, the friendships it has fostered, and the opportunities it provides for our young men to compete with courage, humility and good sportsmanship. This year’s design carries significant meaning through its Indigenous artwork, donated to the College by Wendy and Al Brookman. “Our Place, Our Home.” The design reflects the strength and responsibility of men to guard and protect what matters most: their home, their place, and their people. For us at St Edmund’s College, this speaks directly to our commitment to protecting and upholding our school, our students, our teammates, and our name - a powerful expression of belonging, pride, and unity within our College community.

Proceeds from today will go to Menslink. Menslink has been supporting young men in the Canberra region for over twenty years through our free counselling, volunteer mentoring and education programs. In that time we have helped thousands of young guys get through tough or lonely times with the least amount of pain or harm to themselves or those around them.
