Living Well Insider Here in the Golden Isles, inspiration often comes from the people and stories around us. For me, skincare has always been personal. And when it comes to skincare, I’ve learned firsthand that what you leave out can matter just as much as what you put in.
That realization was life-changing. By switching to plant-based products in a simple, pared-down routine, I finally felt comfortable in my own skin. Effective, gentle formulas became the obvious answer - and when I couldn’t find what I needed I created it myself.
I’m Suzanne LeRoux, founder of One Love Organics, a natural and organic skincare company proudly based here in Georgia’s Golden Isles. My journey began not in a lab, but in law. Before launching OLO in 2010, I was an attorney, but my love of wellness and ingredients came early - thanks to my dad, a pharmacist.
Since then, One Love Organics has grown into an award-winning line - recognized by Oprah, Allure, and The Today Show - and is carried by national retailers like Bluemercury and Credo, as well as in facial spas across the country. What sets us apart is operating Georgia’s only ECOCERT/COSMOS - licensed manufacturing facility, ensuring the highest standards in certified organic, cruelty-free, and environmentally friendly skincare.
Growing up, I struggled with extremely sensitive, reactive skin that looked like rosacea but defied diagnosis. After trying everything from pharmacy prescriptions to department store counters - I finally discovered the problem: my skin couldn’t tolerate petrochemicals (the petroleum-derived ingredients found in most skincare and makeup)
