Eagle Ridge Ladies On The Links Submitted by Jill Birchill The Eagle Ridge Wednesday Morning Ladies’ Golf League is in full operation, but with some minor changes. Our leaders for the last few years will be joining another golf course so Jill Burchill and Barb Baker have stepped in to run league activities. Each week of play will involve fun golf events that all levels of players will enjoy. There is no annual league fee, so feel free to play as few or as many times between Jan. 3 and the end of the league season on March 27. Sign up in the women’s locker room by Sunday at noon for play on the following Wednesday. Players will receive an email with their tee time and foursome members on Monday. Tee times start at 8:15 a.m. each Wednesday. It costs $2 each week to participate in the event plus $.50 for the chip in pot. All of the event monies collected will be paid out to event winners. Just pay your green fees at the pro shop desk (either member or nonmember), stop by the table where Barb or Jill will be collecting event monies and then join your foursome to enjoy the fun. Feel free to bring guests too. On Jan. 31, Feb. 28 and March 27 we will have a shotgun start with a luncheon at the clubhouse. Cash prices for the winners of each week’s events will be awarded at the luncheons. We continue to welcome new members to the league. It is not too late to join in on the fun and competition.
