By Elisabeth Geltz, POA Board Secretary and Drainage Liaison At the beginning of March, we began a new project to improve drainage in the swale behind the condominiums between Acapulco Road and Comingo Lane. This area is engineered to drain south under Balsas Way and eventually make its way to Hog Creek. The plan is to regrade the area on the south side of Balsas Way increasing the pitch, thus improving water flow on the north side. Once the south side is complete, we will assess any work needed on the north side.

but the way to stay looking young is summed up in one word—shade! Or sunscreen, and believe me, I slather it on! My skin burns if a ray bounces off someone’s sunglasses. skin prevent burning? It may be magic, but it works. When I was a kid, my mom used to tell me I was too pale and to go out in the sun and get some color. But that was back when they had no seat belts, drinking on your lunch break was the norm, and smoking was healthy. Now you can’t do any of that fun stuff! It Was A Nice Idea on page 2
