From The Manager
Responsible Pet Ownership in Our Community By April Narine, LCAM, General Manager As a pet-friendly community, we are fortunate to share our neighborhood with many beloved furry companions. Pets bring joy, companionship, and a sense of warmth to our homes—but they also come with responsibilities that help keep our community clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone. We would like to take this opportunity to remind all residents of a few important pet guidelines: Clean Up After Your Pets One of the most common concerns in any community is pet waste. Please remember to always pick up after your pet and dispose of waste properly. Not only is this courteous to your neighbors, but it also helps maintain the cleanliness and health of our shared spaces. Leash Requirements For the safety of both pets and residents, all dogs must be kept on a leash while in common areas, as required by our community rules. Even the most well-behaved pets can become unpredictable in unfamiliar situations, and a leash ensures everyone’s safety and comfort. Be Considerate of Your Neighbors Please be mindful of excessive barking or allowing pets to roam freely. Respecting your neighbors’ peace and personal space helps foster a harmonious living environment for all. Our community thrives when everyone does their part. By following these simple guidelines, we can continue to enjoy a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both residents and their pets. Your cooperation helps make our community a better place to live. Let’s continue working together to make our community the very best it can be! ¢
From The Desk Of Commissioner Marci Woodward A Message from Marci I recently presented my first Property Tax presentation and live poll to the residents of the Boca West Master Association at their Annual Meeting. There was a strong turnout, and residents were actively engaged throughout the discussion. Providing clear information about how property taxes work helps residents better understand how public funding is used in our community. County property taxes are a primary source of funding for many local services, including roads and infrastructure, parks, public safety services, Palm Tran, community programs, and other operations. With ongoing discussions in Tallahassee regarding potential statewide changes to property taxes, it is important for us to discuss how those changes may impact local government. The County’s General Fund totals $2.5 billion, and approximately $1.5 billion of that amount is funded by property taxes collected within Palm Beach County. When residents pay their property tax bill, the largest portion typically goes to the School Board (approximately 54%), followed by Palm Beach County’s general operations From The Desk Of on page 2

Director Of Security Spring Into Safety: April Tips for Boca Pointe Residents By Ebenson Bristol Boca Pointe welcomes April with a renewed focus on safety as spring activity increases. With more walkers, visitors, and outdoor time throughout the community, it’s a perfect moment to revisit a few key safety reminders.
Seasonal Awareness and Community Activity With the nice spring weather, more residents will be out walking, biking, and using the community features. To help keep everyone safe: • Drivers: Please follow the speed limit on all Boca Pointe roads and remain alert for pedestrians, especially near crosswalks. • Pedestrians & Cyclists: Use sidewalks where available, stay visible at dusk, and avoid distractions such as mobile phones when crossing roadways.
Home & Property Security April is a popular month for travel. If you plan to be away: • Ensure all doors, sliders, and windows are locked before leaving. • Set alarms and verify that emergency contacts are up to date. • Avoid posting travel plans on social media until after you return. Our patrol officers continue to conduct regular neighborhood checks and respond promptly to any concerns.
Gate Access & Visitor Management To keep traffic flowing smoothly and maintain strong perimeter security: • Please pre-register guests and vendors on your guest list through Access Control or via Gate Access app. • Remind visitors to have a photo I.D ready at the gate. • Contractors should display proper credentials and follow all community rules. Your cooperation helps us maintain efficient entry procedures and reduces delays during peak hours.
Pet Safety & Courtesy As outdoor activity increases, so do pet related concerns. A few reminders: • Dogs must remain leashed at all times when outside your residence. • Please pick up after your pets and dispose of waste properly.
Preparing for Storm Season Although hurricane season officially begins in June, April is the perfect time to start preparing: • Review your emergency plans and supply kits. • Check shutters or impact windows for proper function. • Update your contact information with the Boca Pointe community office. I will provide detailed storm preparedness guidance in the coming months.
