Alpert Jewish Family Service Marks Year Of Record Impact, Serving More Than 12,000 Across Palm Beach County Annual Meeting Highlights Growth in Mental Health Services and Expanding Demand Across the Community Alpert Jewish Family Service (Alpert JFS), one of Palm Beach County’s primary providers of integrated mental health and social services, marked a year of significant growth and community impact at its 2026 Annual Meeting, highlighting services delivered to more than 12,000 individuals and families across the region. As demand for mental health care, financial assistance, and support services continues to rise, Alpert JFS plays a central role in the community’s social service safety net, providing critical, wraparound care to vulnerable populations including seniors, Holocaust survivors, families in crisis, and individuals with disabilities.

Spanish River Park Beach One Of Three In Nation Honored With International Blue Flag Award For the second year in a row the beach at Spanish River Park has earned the international Blue Flag Beach Award, this one for the 2026–2027 season. The city officially raised the Blue Flag on May 7th, celebrating Boca Raton’s continued leadership in environmental stewardship, coastal management and sustainability. Boca’s “Summer In The City” At Mizner Park Amphitheater To Set Season’s Music Soundtrack This summer the City of Boca Raton is building on the energy that already defines Downtown Boca with the return of “Summer in the City,” a free multi-event series celebrating live music, culture and community connection. At the heart of the series are signature tribute concerts celebrating legendary artists and eras, each one adding a new
track to Boca Raton’s summer soundtrack. Anchored at the Mizner Park Amphitheater the program expands on a beloved tradition–offering a mix of performances, special events and community experiences throughout the summer months. The first of these took place on Friday, June 12th and featured Turnstiles: A Tribute to Billy Joel. The remaining performances are: Friday, June 26th at 7:30 p.m. – The Long Run: A Tribute to the Eagles; Friday, July 17th at 7:30 p.m. – Yvad & The Legal Roots: A Tribute to Bob Marley; Friday, July 31st at 7:30 p.m. – Peace of Woodstock Band: A Tribute to the Woodstock Era.
The series culminates with the 6th Annual Battle of the Bands & Young Entrepreneurs Market on Friday, August 7th at 7 p.m., when emerging local talent and young business owners take center stage in a high-energy, crowd-favorite competition. Bands interested in competing, and young entrepreneurs interested in showcasing their business, are invited to submit entries through June 20th for a chance to be a part of this highly anticipated event.
