Cross Border Xpress (CBX)

CBX is an enclosed pedestrian bridge connecting Tijuana International Airport passengers to San Diego. Just 20 minutes from Downtown, it is an accessible and generally more affordable travel option. Ticketing is easy and available online and immigration papers can be completed at home.

San Diego International Airport

Visitors land in SAN just 10 min away from Downtown. If staying outside of Downtown, the San Diego Flyer - a free electric-shuttle service - goes from the two main airport terminals to the transit hub at Old Town. From there, the Coaster/Amtrak trains run between North County San Diego and Downtown, and the Trolley offers transportation to Mission Valley, Fashion Valley, and as far north as University Town Center.
