MEET THE PERFORMERS at Berlin’s Famous Kit Kat Club
Could you please tell me your name and where you are from? Bobby: I’m Bobby and I’m from London. Victor: I’m Victor and I’m from a rural town in Germany. My hometown is a small town, a culturally confined place. Why did you move to Berlin? Why did you decide to work here? Bobby: Well, I was kicked out by my family and I was looking for a place to move. I thought Berlin would be a perfect place for me because it is a diverse place. Here any sexuality is acceptable and I feel comfortable. Victor: I wanted to move to Berlin because of its progressiveness. I wanted to be free. I wanted to get out of my small town and be liberated. Here everyone has different sexuality and it is accepted as Bobby said. And I guess I wanted to explore myself. Thank you, Bobby and Victor. Hello all, could you please tell me your name and where you are from? Texas: Hello. I’m Texas and I’m from Texas, in America. Fritzie: Hi, I’m Fritzie. I was born and raised in Berlin. Frenchie: Bonjour. I’m Frenchie and I’m from France. Oh, you are all from different places. For you two from outside of the country, why did you decide to move to Berlin? And this question is for you all, why did you decide to work at Kit Kat Club? Texas: I was a showgirl in Texas and danced at Vaudeville shows. I really love dancing and I wanted to be the center of the show. I found Kit Kat Club would be a perfect place for me to dance at.
