BULLETIN OF THE SOUTH DAKOTA CHESS ASSOCIATION VOL. 28# 3 October 2005 Sandor Kustar dominated the SDCA events in 2005. His team,the Merchants of Death won their second straight team championship with Serif Suljic and Dan Merchant returning from last years team. Sandor also won his board prize with a perfect score. Thomas Cleberg took second board on tiebreak over Nick Truelson and Serif rd th Suljic. Robert Wallace took the 3 board prize while Jill Likens took the 4 board prize. Terry and Jill Likens returned to their positions as President and Treasurer of the South Dakota Chess Association. Dan Merchant has created a new website which does much more than the previous website. In his treasurers report,Dan reported that we had over $3000 in the bank. We appropriated monies to send Alexander Young to the Arnold Denker Tournament of High School Champions and Taryn Gerdes to the Susan Polgar Girls Invitational Tournament. 2005 SD Team Championship No. Name 1.
