The San Diego Community College District (SDCCD) presents its Annual Report to the Community for 2023-24. At the end of 2023, the SDCCD celebrated 50 years of service to the community. Since the District’s establishment and the election of its first Board of Trustees in 1973, the District has served well over 1 million students, uplifting diverse individuals and communities through culturally affirming teaching, learning, and work environments. In February, Gregory Smith started as the District's permanent chancellor.
