Meet Aidan Magner Aidan Magner is an experienced scout leader and a committed advocate for youth development, bringing board-level governance experience and a career built on operational excellence to his work in scouting. Across his scouting career Aidan has always taken a leadership role, currently as chair of the board and a member of the board since May 2024, and previously as the chair of the VGS core team between 2020 and 2024. Aidan continues to scout locally as a leader in Killeagh 68th Cois Laoi . As Owner and Director of 3SIXTY, a business transformation consultancy, he spends his working life helping organisations plan strategically, improve how they operate, and build the structures that let good people do their best work. He holds a Master Black Belt in Six Sigma and a Masters in Supply Chain Management, and is a recognised lean sensei. He brings that same structured, practical approach to scouting, where his focus is on creating the conditions for young people to develop teamwork, resilience and genuine problem-solving skills. He has a particular talent for taking complex ideas and turning them into accessible, practical solutions that will work for all members. Aidan’s leadership is defined by a commitment to inclusive environments, strong community networks, and equipping the next generation with the confidence, resourcefulness and core values they need for the years ahead. Aidan seeks re-election to the board to continue to shape the organisation of tomorrow. In the last number of years we have come from crisis management to a period of stability and growth. Aidan is focussed on ensuring that we (the scouting community) support our survivors and build a movement that will last for generations to come.
