Hop On Board and See the City Like a Local.

The St. Charles Avenue Streetcar is a National Historic Landmark and the oldest continuously operating streetcar line in the world running since 1835. Ride the green car from Downtown to Uptown to admire oak-lined streets, historic homes, Audubon Park, and the campuses of Loyola and Tulane Universities. Prefer the red line? It connects Mid-City to the French Quarter and ends at the Algiers Ferry, offering one of the best skyline views in town.

TAYLOR | St. Charles Ave. at Lowerline St. | Green Line

This is my neighborhood and the stop for the new location of A Gallery for Fine Photography. Just two blocks over is Maple Street, one of Uptown’s most beloved stretches for local businesses. Here you’ll nd favorites like Friend & Company, Meyer Provisions, Chais Delachaise, Angelique, Gae-Tana’s, Hot Stuff, and a few neighborhood (college) sports bars.

ISABEL | St. Charles Ave. at Second St. | Green Line

I’ve watched the Mardi Gras parades here my whole life. It’s the heart of the Garden District, full of beautiful homes, oak trees, and charm. From this stop, I walk to Magazine Street for Peony, Spruce, or a po-boy and beer at Parasol’s.

SARA | Canal St. at N. Rampart St. | Red Line

I ride downtown for concerts at the Saenger or Orpheum, grabbing a bite to eat at Dovetail or Palm&Pine. Back in Mid-City, I love Bienville grab crudo at Porgy’s, pasta at Zasu, or pizza at Venezia with gelato next door at Angelo Brocato.

LAURA | St. Charles Ave. at Napoleon Ave. | Green Line

My go-to stop connects me to favorites like The Chloe, Columns, Pascal’s Manale, and Tipitina’s. From here, it’s also a quick stroll to Magazine Street’s shops or Creole Creamery on Prytania.

Join us in preserving and protecting the live oaks and the historic linear park along St. Charles Avenue by becoming a member of the St. Charles Avenue Association.

The way we feel about our bodies is deeply personal, telling a story about who we are as women. What we bring to the consultation for aesthetic surgery is emotional, even sacred. As Louisiana’s only double board certified female plastic surgeon who regularly performs both aesthetic and microsurgical breast reconstruction, Dr. Suma Maddox o ers the widest range of possibilities and a nuanced understanding of how to achieve her patients’ goals.

To become a client of Dr. Maddox’s is to love and honor

your details, while remaining true to who you are. It is to feel supported, knowing you are fully seen, without judgment, and receiving the most high-quality surgical care from an industry leader.

Dr. Maddox designed her new o ce space to reflect her reverence for bold, fearless femininity. Named a er her daughter, New Rivers is a nationally accredited boutique surgical suite in the heart of the Lower Garden District, where the whole process will be beautiful, from start to finish.
