Les Yeux du Monde (LYDM) is an established modern and contemporary art gallery based in Charlottesville, Virginia. Founded in 1995 by the late gallerist and art historian Lyn Bolen Warren, the gallery is now led by her daughter, Hagan Tampellini.
Lyn began the gallery on the walls of her mountaintop home shortly after completing her PhD in art history at UVA. The gallery spent its next chapter in downtown Charlottesville, before returning to the mountaintop setting in 2009 – this time to a stunning contemporary corten steel and glass block structure designed by renowned architect W.G. Clark.
Today, the gallery continues to represent significant regional, national, and international artists, debuting a new exhibition every six weeks. For those seeking world-class contemporary art, award-winning architecture, and breathtaking panoramic views, LYDM is not to be missed.
